I have so much to be thankful for this year. First of all, this Sunday will be my 1st wedding anniversary! I'm so thankful to have such a wonderful husband. I've been thinking about how wonderful it is to have someone who compliments me so well. He really is my better half.
I look back on our wedding day and thought about how that day was the happiest day of my life. I can honestly say that the days keep getting better and better. We have had quite a year. We left for our honeymoon late May and took a trip to Greece and Turkey. In Greece we went to Santorini (highly recommend it!), Mykonos and Athens. The weather was beautiful and the people were friendly and the food....oh my gosh, wonderful! After a week in Greece we hopped over the Agean Sea and visited Jake and Lisa in Istanbul. We were there for a week and had a wonderful time. Jake and Lisa are quite the hosts! The only bummer thing that happened while we were in Istanbul was that our camera was stolen in the Egyptian Spice Market. Most of our Greece pictures and all of our Turkey pictures. At least we can say we have our memories! :)
I'm now in school and am working part time. I have about 2 years left before I finally graduate with my BS degree. It only took 12 years...not too bad right?
Kent has been with his new company for just over 3 months and loves it! I'm so thankful that he loves his job!
For this Thanksgiving, I'm thankful for the following:
My wonderful husband,
My family
My new family
My friends
Home, car, food, clothes and job
Love
Christ
Church
Nature
Safety
so much more....
