Pictures During Ultrasound

Here are a few pictures of the ultrasound. The bottom picture of course is the beginning of the ultrasound. There is a nice pile of goo on my belly. The second picture was taken just as the tech told us we were having a boy, and the third picture is of Kent taking it all in! :) What an exciting day!

Great News!!!

We had our ultrasound appointment today to find out the sex of our baby. Kent and I are expecting Nolen around the 29th of November! :) We are so excited!

Now, the real fun begins....buying stuff for the baby and deciding what his room will look like!

I'll have Kent upload our ultrasound pictures tonight so I can share the pictures with you.

Disappointing Monday

So, you all know that I was suppose to find out the sex of our little "bean" today, right? Well,
Kent and I were getting ready to leave the house around 8:45am when the phone rang. I picked it up and it was the dr.'s office informing me that the building had a fire in it over the weekend and the air conditioning was not working, and that it was extremely hot in the building, therefore they were calling to reschedule my appt. Let me just tell you how dissapointed I was! I told the nurse that I didn't care about being uncomfortable for a little while if it meant that I could keep my appointment. She said that it was really too miserable in the building and that I should come in at 9:00am tomorrow morning.

Seriously, I have been waiting a month now for this appointment and I had planned to make breakfast for Kent and I before we left and to stop by Kennedy Coffee before the appointment so I could wake the baby up! :) Needless to say, I cried because I was so disappointed about not being able to find out today. I thought about all the people I had to call or e-mail to only tell them that I would call them tomorrow with the news.

I called my mom this morning, and she answered the phone with such pep, because she knew it was me and knew that I had news to deliver. All I could say was, "my appt. was moved to tomorrow!" :( She was bummed, I was bummed.

Anyway, I'll hopefully give you good news tomorrow.

21 Weeks Pregnant

Here is another picture of me pregnant. In this picture I'm 21 weeks! Well, really I'm 2 days away from being 21 weeks, but it's close enough right?

I'm trying to keep my pictures updated, so my family in California feels like they are experiencing pregnancy with me. Ok, so Mom and Dad, enjoy!!!

Can't Wait till Monday!!!!

This Monday, July 21st at 9:30am, Kent and I will hopefully find out the sex of our little "Bean". I haven't really taken a formal poll, most people have just told me what they think I'm having based on the way I'm carrying.

All the Watson's think that I'm having a boy, all the Parson's think I'm having a girl. The Newberry's are in for a boy as well as Eleta, but the rest of my friends, they think it's a girl. Everybody's guess is as good as mine! :) Guess I'll have to let you all know on Monday....

19 Weeks Pregnant

Here is another preggo pic. I think my belly has grown quite a bit in 2 weeks. Actually, to me it's kind of scary how fast my belly is growing. I really think it changes every day!!!

Only 2 more weeks till we find out the sex of our baby! :) I have had several people ask me if I have had any thoughts as to what the baby will be, and I really don't. Several moms that I've spoken with have told me that they knew they were having a girl or a boy before an ultrasound told them. I just have no clue! I also haven't felt the baby move yet, but I'm told I may not notice it until around 20-22 weeks. When I finally feel the baby, it will be such a sigh of relief. Being pregnant feels like a big waiting game....can be very frustrating!
