As you all know by now we had a major ice storm hit Fayetteville. We were out of power from Tuesday-Friday. Honestly, being without power wasn't that bad because we have a gas heater, gas water heater and a gas stove! We were warm, ate well and could take a hot shower...not too bad huh? :) The bummer deal with this whole event was the destruction on our property. Kent has his work cut out for him over the next few weekends I'm sure. Here are a few pictures of our property.

wow. that's about how our yard looked, but we don't have as many trees, so it wasn't quite as bad. nuts. glad you have power again! my brother was out from tuesday-monday. they became drifters and stayed at friends' houses b/c they aren't set up like you guys. gotta love older homes!
